Kitchen Still Life

These vegetable kitchen accent paintings were a lot of fun. I used lots of thick oil paint with a palette knife for the most part. I loved working with the client, along with the warm color scheme throughout the home.

Desert Home Project

I have been fortunate to live in some amazing places… like Carmel and Laguna Beach California… now in New York City! I also have been able to paint in some wonderful places too. Recently, I was commissioned to paint for a Parade of Home show out in the desert of Southern Utah. I painted landscapes, still life and even murals of Kachina Indians that were indigenous to the area.  This particular home was in a gorgeous setting and I felt privileged to be able to paint there. Pictured below are some of the results that came from my 3-week experience in this beautiful desert location.

Parade of Homes Show Paintings

I painted several landscape scenes of the Red Rock cliffs and the beautiful sky at sunset for the Parade of Homes show. I highly recommend to New Yorkers a trip out west to see the amazing vistas of the southern Utah desert. It's good for the soul.
